Simply Challenged Challenge - Dec 18 - Traditional Colors

Hello, all! It's another challenge day over at SCC and today we are using traditional Christmas colors; red, green, silver, and/or gold. I know you all can do this and with Christmas around the corner some of you could use another Christmas card! Lol!

Well Christmas is just around the corner, do you have your shopping done? I know everyone is sending and receiving Christmas cards right now so..
The Challenge for this time will be colors.
Traditional Christmas colors: Red / Green / Silver / Gold

Use an SBS image to get a prize and lets see some Great Christmas Cards..

Here is my Christmas project using the traditional colors of red and green. I used the SBS image Seasons Greetings Lola.

Seasons Greetings! Card. This is Seasons Greetings Lola. She is so cute giving a gift to her little friend. I colored her to look like an elf in Christmas colors.

Teen Scene Fall and Winter Preview - Day 2!

Hello, all! It's day 2 of the Teen Scene Fall and Winter Preview! I cannot emphasize enough, how much I love these fun images! I had a ball working with them and I know you will love them, too! The three we will be seeing today are all about fun in the snow! Today, we are previewing Snowball Fight Miller, Snowball Sale Lola, and Snowball Rio!
I Dare You! Layout. This is Snowball Fight Miller. He's ready for a fight; a snowball fight! I made a layout with this stamp because he reminded me of when my daughters first played in the snow.

Supplies: Image and sentiment from Simply B Stamps, papers and cardstock from my stash, snowflakes cut with Cricut Expression, and I used some Liquid Pearls in Ocean Blue and Key Lime. The image was colored with Copics.

You can Count on Me Card. This lovely lady is Snowball Sales Lola! She's making the most of winter and selling snowballs instead of lemonade. She probably made some money off of Snowball Fight Miller! Lol!
Supplies: Image and sentiment from Simply B Stamps, papers and cardstock from my stash, used a snowflake punch and border punch. Image colored with Copics.

Feeling Playful? Bucket. This is Snowball Rio! I decided to create a snowball bucket with this image. You could hold snowballs or maybe some treats that are less likely to melt, in this!

Supplies: Image and sentiment from Simply B Stamps, snowflakes cut with Cricut Expression, papers from The Paper Studio, carstock from my stash, miniature plastic bucket, and glitter ribbon. Image colored with Copics.

Simply Challenged Challenges - Aug 21 - Anything Goes!

Hello, all! Time for another Simply Challenged Challenge!!! Anything Goes today! Let your creativity lead you!

Welcome Back to Simply Challenged Challenges, and it's the 21st of the month, so time for our Anything Goes challenge. Nice and simple, just remember to use a SBS image, and then let your imagination go wild!!

To see all the details, DT inspiration, and winners of past challenges; please visit the SCC Blog!

This week the DT went all Christmas-y! Of course, with a Betty twist! We all used the Simply B Christmas Zombies!

This is the sample I came up with for this challenge:

Fa La La Card. I used Fa-La-La-La-La Lexi for my card. I love the color combo of turquoise and red, and I have these Christmas papers that have that combo in them, so viola! Here she is. I must say it was a little difficult to get into the Christmas-y spirit when I am revving up for Halloween! Lol.

I hope that you will join in the fun and participate in this week's challenge! Remember that anything goes and that you have until September 20 to complete the challenge!

12 Days of Christmas - Day 12!

Hello, all! It's the final day of the 12 Days of Christmas for Smeared Ink! I can't believe it's already over! It seems like it just started. I wish for all of you to have a lovely holiday season and to spend it with your loved ones. I won't be on for a while since I'll be visiting family after Christmas and into the new year. So here is my last project for the 12 Days!
Photobucket

BLOG ROLL!

A couple of little projects to share with you all:

A DIY Gumball Machine Candy Bowl. I used a clay pot, saucers, and a glass bowl to construct this candy bowl. One of these was given to me quite a few years ago and I always thought what a wonderful idea it was. So here is one I made, painted blue and stamped snowflakes all over. The only thing missing on it is the knob that goes on top of the lid, which I haven't been able to go and buy yet. I filled it with an assortment of Hershey's kisses.

Burlap Tag. The tag is made out of burlap and was stamped with A Very Skelly Christmas stamps and colored with alcohol ink. I am going to add a ribbon to it later today, just didn't want to be late with my post for today.

Again, I wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, or whatever you celebrate! ~Hugs~
