Sweeter Than Sugar

Hello, sweeties! It's time for another Facebook Fan Page Challenge over at SBS! You have to come see these new images and join in on the fun! If you love sweets as much as I do, you're not going to want to miss these!

Are you ready for a new and Awesome Fan page Challenge?

Betty as drawn up some fun images again for our fan page challenge!  They are just SWEET!  Let's meet them all..

Bettina Buttercup

 Bon Bon Melissa

 Cherry Cordial Corinne

 Princess Cupcake Rio

 Princess Gumdrop Cynthia

 Peppermint Queen Betty

You know you love them!  Ok let's get down to challenge business!

Like the last time use all 6 images and you will receive store credit to match your actual purchase!  Let me explain this...if you got a credit for $8 because you used all 4 images for the last Fan Page Challenge, and are getting all 6 images this month, this means your actual purchase for this month is only $4.  Why? Well because you've already gotten credit for 4 of them which was your $8 from last month, therefore your credit is only good for what you actually purchase out of pocket!  This would be $4 you would be paying out of pocket for all 6 images once the $8 credit has been applied.

Next by popular votes the winner will receive October's Fan page challenge images free should you be voted the winner by our friends and fans with the voting system!

Are you ready to get started?  Or course you are let's see what the challenges are for each image!

Peppermint Queen Betty
Color Combo: brown, red, and white

Princess Cupcake Rio use a bow

Queen Cherry Cordial Corinne use ribbon or lace

Princess Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Bettina use either dies or punches

Candy Hoggin London SBS Showcase

Hello, all! Can you believe we are into the third week of the new year already?! Time is really flying by lately!

Today I have a card to share with you. The focus of this card is Candy Hoggin London; a fantastic image from the Emo Valentine Collection from Simply B Stamps. All month long, the DT will be creating projects with the images from this collection, so make sure to stop by the blog often so you don't miss a thing!

This lovely lady laden with her Valentine's Day Candy is Candy Hoggin London. She must love sweets as much as I do. Lol. For this card, I used some candy patterned papers that I had in my stash. I really had a hard time photographing this as the paper was so light in color but I finally got a good shot. I used twine from Michael's Dollar Spot and a button I had in a jar. London is colored with Copics.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 12!

Hello, all! It's the final day of the 12 Days of Christmas for Smeared Ink! I can't believe it's already over! It seems like it just started. I wish for all of you to have a lovely holiday season and to spend it with your loved ones. I won't be on for a while since I'll be visiting family after Christmas and into the new year. So here is my last project for the 12 Days!

BLOG ROLL!

A couple of little projects to share with you all:

A DIY Gumball Machine Candy Bowl. I used a clay pot, saucers, and a glass bowl to construct this candy bowl. One of these was given to me quite a few years ago and I always thought what a wonderful idea it was. So here is one I made, painted blue and stamped snowflakes all over. The only thing missing on it is the knob that goes on top of the lid, which I haven't been able to go and buy yet. I filled it with an assortment of Hershey's kisses.

Burlap Tag. The tag is made out of burlap and was stamped with A Very Skelly Christmas stamps and colored with alcohol ink. I am going to add a ribbon to it later today, just didn't want to be late with my post for today.

Again, I wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, or whatever you celebrate! ~Hugs~

12 Days of Christmas - Day 10

Hello, all! We're nearing the end of the 12 Days of Christmas for Smeared Ink and it has been a wonderful experience! I have seen so many fantastic projects from everyone these past days. I've gained so much inspiration! So thank you to all the participants, whether they are Jolly Bloggers or Merry Hoppers, or just popped in real quick to take a peak. This has been a wonderfully fun adventure.

BLOG ROLL!
Here is my project for today! And it's not a Christmas card! Lol. It's a candy wrapper!

For these candy wrappers I just scanned an old coloring book page and made it into a digi stamp. I removed the snowman's hat so I could give him a nice new felt one. I colored him in with Copics and Stickles, cut him out and glued him onto a festive background paper (the size of the candy bar's original wrapper), and wrapped the candy bar with the finished wrapper. I wrapped some felt around his head and made him a snow cap to match his scarf. I've made these two already and have snowmen colored in different colors to make more. These are such cute little gifts and stocking stuffers! I got this idea from a candy bar wrapper I saw on Pinterest but I did not want to download the actual label for printing, so I made my own.

Day 2 of Halloween at Simply Betty

If you're looking for Day 22 of the 31 Days of Halloween, it's in the post below this one.

Hello, all! Here is my entry for the 2nd Day of the 12 Days of Halloween over at Simply Betty Stamps.

On the second day of Halloween:
...My true love gave to me
Two trick or treaters
And an owl in a rotten oak tree!

Here For Candy Card. These two cuties are stamps from Simply Betty Stamps that I colored in with Copics. The candy corn paper is from my stash and the background paper is stamped with Smeared Ink candy stamps and filled in with Stickles in Picket Fence, Orange Peel, Yellow, and Lime Green. The title alphas are candy corn cut from a scrap piece of paper and from Thickers covered in yellow Stickles.

Day 22 (1) - 31 (12) Days of Halloween

Hello, all! Can you believe we've gotten through three weeks of the 31 Days of Halloween already!?! I know I can't believe I've hung in there this long! Lol. Today I am combining the 31 Days of Halloween from Smeared and Smudged with the 12 Days of Halloween from Simply Betty Stamps.

On the first day of Halloween:

...My true love gave to me
An owl in a rotten oak tree!

All Hallows Eve Card. I used my October Scraps of Darkness All Hallows Eve kit for this. The paper is from Fancy Pants, the cardstock is Bazzill, and the owl stamp is from LeBlanche (inked with Staz On black ink). The tree is a sticker from the Apothecary line from Echo Park (which did not come from my kit). The kitty stamp is from Simply Betty and the flowers are all Prima. I also added some Stardust Stickles for some shimmer.
