It's the 13 Days of Halloween! ~Day 6~

Hello, everyone! Onward in the celebrate of Halloween! It's the sixth day of the 13 Days of Halloween over at the Simply Betty Stamps Blog! The 13 Days of Halloween are an annual celebration at SBS throughout the month of October full of challenges, prizes, and surprises! So stop by and join in!

The sixth challenge of Halloween is to create a Christmas (yes, I said Christmas) treat box or bag and make it spooky! You can use a Halloween or Christmas image, but remember to keep it creepy!

Check out the Simply B Stamps blog for all the fun details!

This is what I made for this challenge:

My Christmas Treat Bag with the Rio Trimming the Tree image from the Emo Christmas collection at SBS. I tried to keep the Christmas-y spirit and still but some Halloween into it. What do you think?

It's the 13 Days of Halloween! ~Day 2~

Hello, everyone!  Let's continue to celebrate the fabulously spooky time of Halloween. It's the second day of the 13 Days of Halloween over at the Simply Betty Stamps Blog! Thirteen fun-filled days throughout the month of October full of challenges, prizes, and surprises!

The second  day of Halloween is all about ooey gooey body parts. This second challenge includes incorporating body parts and pieces in your creations! Severed hands, hanging eyeballs, or ripped-off fingernails.... Whatever your freakish mind can come up with!

Check out the Simply B Stamps blog for all the fun details!

Here is my creation for this second challenge:

This is Bwains Christian. Isn't he adorable? I love his innocent look, even though he's probably thing about eating your brain. Lol. I used an image from an embroidery pattern of a zombie hand to create the background paper. I colored the images in with Copics. I then made a border of brains by repeating a brain pattern on paper. The image is colored in  Copics, I used Thickers for the sentiment, and my Martha Stewart goo order punch for the borders of blood.

I hope you like it! Make sure to stop by SBS to see everyone else's projects!

And this is the envelope on its own.

Simply B Stamps Release - Betty Boos!

Hello, hello, everyone! Today is the day of the second Simply B Stamps release for the month of March! And this is exciting; the collection is a new line created by Betty at SBS called the Betty Boos! They are cute, beautiful, and sassy!

Here are cards I created with the four new images:

This is Betty Laundry Dreamer! She's just thinking of the things she would rather be doing, which I am sure most of us can sympathize with.

This is Betty Inner tube! She is having a fine time! (In the pool or in the ocean; doesn't matter. She's ready for a swim!)

This is Copic Betty! She is on a mission: To collect every marker out there!
Counter top Betty! She's a sweet temptress!

Here are the links to the other DT member's blogs, so you can check out all the creations made with these fabulous images! Don't forget you can purchase these at SBS!

Simply B Stamps Release - Mythical Teens!

Hello, all! It's the first of February and the first release of Simply B Stamps for the month! These are a doozy! So whimsical and interesting! I know you will love them as much as I do!

The Mystical Teens are collection of amusing characters from myths of long ago! This collection includes fauns, fairies, nymphs, and merpeople! They will be popular for all those who love legends, fairy tales, and lore! (And probably everybody else! LOL)

This is the lovely Betty Faun Queen. I love her wavy hair and leaf dress!

This is Lola the Fairy. Her flowing hair and fluttery wings are so beautiful!

This is the handsome Fairy Boy Miller!

This gorgeous creature is London Nymph! I am in love with the London's from Simply B Stamps because they have such gorgeous curly hair!

This sweet little guy bearing a flowery gift is Jude Faun Prince!

Here is Chris Faun King! He's playing a magical tune!

This enchanting young lady is Rio the Siren!

And last but certainly, not least, is Christian Merboy! (He was such a pleasure to color!)

So what do you think? Loads of fun, huh?!

Simply Challenged - January 29 - Anything Goes!

Hello, all!

Anything Goes, yes you are correct use any SBS image and ANYTHING goes!!!

I always love an Anything Goes challenge! The hardest part for me is choosing which stamp to use!
For this challenge, I used Spaghetti Christian from the Teen Scene Kitchen Fun Collection!

Hot Stuff Card. I used Spaghetti Christian to create a cheeky little Valentine, along with some older kitchen-themed papers I had in my stash. The die cut pot was cut using my Cricut Expression and the
From My Kitchen cartridge.

Creative Creations - Challenge 1 - Anything Goes!

Hello, all! I don't know if I announced this officially but I am now a member of the Creative Creations Design Team! The DT is for the new Creative Creations Challenges Blog! And today is the very first challenge! So to make it easy for everyone, it's Anything Goes!

The sponsor for this challenge is That Craft Place!

Please make sure to check the new challenge blog out! It's going to be lots of fun!

For this challenge, I created a card. I used a Simply B Stamp from the Teen Scene Kitchen Fun Collection; Baking Betty.

What's Cookin' Card. I colored the image using Copics and made highlights using an opaque white pen. The papers are from The Paper Studio, the alphas are from Thickers, and I used some Liquid Pearls for accents.

I hope you'll come and join in!

Burlesque Bettys Sneak Peek - Preview Day 5

Hello, all! It's Day 5 of the preview days for the Burlesque Bettys Collection! Today we have a tantalizing image!

Well thank goodness for that or Betty Feathers may be giving you all a PEEP show, no peek a BOOB here! She's all covered up and ready to shake them tail feathers!

It's Betty Feathers! And my theme for today is the 4th of July!

Stand Up and Be Proud! I must say I am not completely happy about how this one came out. I do love how the image came out but the card seems to be lacking something. Hmmm....I'll figure it out, I'm sure. Well, other than that, I have to say Betty Feathers is one of my faves from this collection. She is just so cute and sassy!

I hope you are all enjoying these so far, remember that these will be our last big Shebang for 2012! I am looking forward to a New Year of SBS and new friends!

Of course before we get to the New Year, won't you please visit the other DT members and show them some support!? We sure do appreciate it ;)
