Simply B Stamps Showcase ~Patriotic Betty~

Hello, everyone! I have a wonderful image to show off today for this SBS Showcase. She's full of patriotism and such a bombshell. Patriotic Betty is such a perfect pin up!

Here she is on a card I made. I know it's early for 4th of July projects but she just lends herself for this type of card!

Happy 4th of July card. I used Echo Park 4th of July papers and stickers for this card. The image was colored with Copics and highlighted with a white opaque pen.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope to see you all again soon!

Hello, all! Today is release day at SBS! Today we are showing off projects using the new Betty Boo Line;  the 4th of July Bettys! I know you are going to love them! These are perfect for your 4th of July projects but can also be used for a variety of themes. Make sure to stop by the SBS Blog to see what else is going on with this release and some secret releases that have been going on.

BBQ Time Card. This is BBQutie Betty. She's grilling up some yumminess for 4th of July!

You Light Up My Life Like A Firework Card. This is Rocket Betty. She's serving up some fun for the 4th!

Life's A Beach Card. This is Sand Castle Betty. For some, the 4th means relaxation!

I Salute You Card. This is Patriotic Betty. She is the perfect pinup for the 4th of July! She is my favorite! And FYI, to get the aged look on the image just go over her with some Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Thanks for stopping by! Make sure to check on the other girls from the DT to see what they have created!

Burlesque Bettys Sneak Peek - Preview Day 5

Hello, all! It's Day 5 of the preview days for the Burlesque Bettys Collection! Today we have a tantalizing image!

Well thank goodness for that or Betty Feathers may be giving you all a PEEP show, no peek a BOOB here! She's all covered up and ready to shake them tail feathers!

It's Betty Feathers! And my theme for today is the 4th of July!

Stand Up and Be Proud! I must say I am not completely happy about how this one came out. I do love how the image came out but the card seems to be lacking something. Hmmm....I'll figure it out, I'm sure. Well, other than that, I have to say Betty Feathers is one of my faves from this collection. She is just so cute and sassy!

I hope you are all enjoying these so far, remember that these will be our last big Shebang for 2012! I am looking forward to a New Year of SBS and new friends!

Of course before we get to the New Year, won't you please visit the other DT members and show them some support!? We sure do appreciate it ;)

Simply Challenged Challenge June 7 - Inner Betty

Hello, all! Time for the challenges to start over at Simply Challenged Challenges with Simply B Stamps! There will be a new challenge every week and you'll have all month long to complete them!

Here's the link to the challenge: Inner Betty Challenge

Your challenge is to create a project using any of the 'Betty' images from SBS to show us your Inner Betty, we want to see what Betty's images mean to you, so you might want to make a fun and quirky card, or something spooky and beautiful, it's up to you!!

This is my Inner Betty:

Betty Liberty Card. My Inner Betty Image couldn't have been more perfect for me. She is full of personality, panache, and patriotism! I love that at Simply B Stamps you can always find the perfect stamp for unique projects! I used this Betty to make a birthday card for one of my aunts, whose birthday is the 5th of July. The sentiment inside says "Hope your day is filled with fireworks!" I used plain cardstock in white, red, and blue, some random star stamps I had in my stash, and some fireworks paper from The Paper Studio. I also used some star stickers from The Paper Studio and Stickles in Christmas Red and Diamond.

Copics I used for Betty Liberty: E29, E35, E37, N2, R01, R20, R32, R59, Y02, Y15, YG41, YR02, YR04, YR68
