Please do NOT share the files, if a friend wants to participate please direct them here or to the Stamping Chef blog for instructions on how to get them for free. They will be put up for sale after 24 hours for anyone wanting them without having to do the challenge, but why not try to win the challenge from each team right?

Now onto the details! The challenge starts today August 21st, 2013 and will run until August 28th at 11:59 PM PST. You have until then to upload. Each team The Vulture Knockouts (aka The Stamping Chef) vs. The Skullhead Babes (aka Simply B Stamps) will then vote on a winner for each team. You can certainly do both challenges!

Here are the details...

For The Stamping Chef your challenge with Kitty Paw Vultura you must do a recipe:
1 ribbon, 2 buttons 3 pieces of background paper

For Simply B Stamps your challenge with Bonnie Skullbabe you must do a color combo:
Hot Pink, Lime Green, and Black (this is for your colors of clothing, papers, embellishments).

Pretty simple right?

So what's in the Winner's Pot? Each company will be choosing one winner for their image, the winner will receive a $10 gift Certificate from which ever company the winner wins! Who knows, you may win on both sides then you have $10 to spend at each store! Whoohoo!! Just remember each company is giving away only one Gift Certificate for their challenge, just so there are no misunderstandings, you will win from either or company. Winners will be announced here, on the gallery site, and at The Stamping Chef blog on Friday August 30th.
Good luck and have loads of fun with these two sexy women!

Now where to upload your entries? That is simple too...both SBS and TSC entries are to be uploaded

Creative Creations Challenge! ~Bingo~

Hello, everybody! I have a fun challenge for you from Creative Creations Challenges today! It's a Bingo challenge! Pick any three in a row to get Bingo and enter the challenge!

The sponsor for this fantastic challenge is Digital Delights by Louby Loo!

Below is the Bingo card. Be sure to check out the full details at the CCC Blog.

Any three in a row will do! I went all out and did a full Bingo card! I used every square on the card to create my project. Take a look!

DIY Door Hanger. I used some lace (colored with Lindy's Stamp Gang Cattail Copper Brown mist), the DIY sentiment, a couple of different ribbons to hang it from, flowers colored with LSG Cattail Copper Brown and Tibetan Poppy Teal, and an image I cut out of some Tim Holtz kraft cardstock,. I distressed the tag with some Walnut Stain and Broken China Distress Inks, and used some lace with pearls (colored with Lindy's Stamp Gang Tibetan Poppy Teal), and a couple of kraft cardstocks. I also made something other than a card. So that about covers it! Lol.

This challenge was a lot of fun and I hope that you'll stop by Creative Creations Challenges to join in!

Simply Challenged Challenge ~Back to School~

Hello, all! I hope everyone is doing good, what with the hectic first days of school upon us. I am happy to say that my two kiddos are going to school now and I have a little time to myself now. We all haven't got the routine down just yet, but it's only a matter of time that our days will run smoother. I can actually get to enjoy my coffee in the morning! Let's not forget, us parents have to have some "me" time! So today I have another SCC challenge to share with you! Go ahead and spend some of your "me" time creating!

A Simply Challenged Challenge is open! It's Back to School time right now, so the challenge is to create something for TEACHER!

This is a card I created for teacher! I used a sketch from Mojo Mondays Sketch Challenge blog, so I'll be entering this card in Challenge #306 there.

Sketch:

My Card:
Back to School card. I used Teacher's Pet Betty for this. I just love her twirling her hair with her finger. Something I do when I'm bored! Lol.

Make sure to stop by Simply Challenged Challenges to check out the new challenge and what the other DT members have to show you! I hope you'll decide to enter!

It's a SBS Release! ~Back to School~

Hello, all! It's time to show off a new release from Simply B Stamps! This one is all about getting the kiddos back to school! I know, as a mom, we love our kids, but it is so nice when we can get "me" time back for a while.... Lol. So here come the School Teens!

The releases for Simply B Stamps are going to work a little differently from now on: Each of the DT members will show one creation with a designated stamp on release day. Every day following release day will bring about a showcase from an individual DT member, which will include some more of the stamps in the collection until all of us have had a turn in showing all of our creations. I'm thinking this will draw out the fun of release day!

Here is my creation with Lunch Break Miller! (I happen to agree with him: lunch was my favorite subject in school, Lol)
.
My Favorite Subject... Lunch! card. This is Lunch Break Miller. He looks ready to devour that gigantic burger!

Here are the links to everyone else's blogs, so you can check out their projects!

For the love of Zelda!

Hello, all! I wanted to stop by really quickly to show you all some Converse tennis shoes that I customized for my daughter. First of all, Kassy just turned 17 and is a fan of all the Legend of Zelda video games. She wanted to have some unique shoes for school this year and she wanted them to match her backpack for this year (which happens to be Legend of Zelda themed).

Here is what I created for her:

Triforce Converse shoes. I bought all black Converse tennis shoes and used a gold oil-based Sharpie to draw the symbol and add the gold line at the bottom of the shoe. She's happy with them. What do you all think?

Another Whovian Emerges!

Hello, everyone! I hope this day finds you well. I don't know how many of you out there are Whovians, but I wanted to share my son's excitement for the fandom! We recently found Doctor Who (and have caught up on all the new seasons, and started on the classics), and my son (6 years old) has gone bonkers for it. He loves Doctor Who and has begun to ask for all kinds of memorabilia and the like. He wants to wear a bow tie and finagled a sonic screwdriver from me. But as much as he wants Doctor Who merchandise, much of what he wants isn't available to us.

For instance, he wanted a stuffed Doctor Who figure. I have seen some on the Internet, through Etsy and such, but decided I could create my very own Doctor for him. Here is the result of that endeavour:

This is the 11th Doctor. I made him out of felt, stuffed him, and stitched him up. My son now carries him everywhere!
Now school is going to start here on August the 9th. And with my son's new found love of the Doctor, he expressed the wish to have a TARDIS backpack for school. I looked them up on the Internet and found that they were either not in stock in most places or that they were being auctioned off for ridiculous amounts of money. I decided to try to create on for him.

My son's new TARDIS backpack. I purchased an inexpensive blue backpack from a large retailer and used oil-based sharpie markers to draw the design on it. My son is very excited for his first day of school. He can't wait to carry this around! And that makes me feel accomplished! Lol.

Thanks so much for visiting! See you all soon!
