It's a Mad Release!

Hello, everyone!

Please accept my apologies for this post being late. I had it ready and all but it did not post as it should have.

Today is a wonderful day for a release! A "Mad" release! Two companies, one amazingly fun group of images! Simply B Stamps and Little Miss Muffet Stamps are teaming up for a fabulous blog hop for this release. Check out the details here at SBS. There are going to be contests and prizes as well, so be sure to stop by.

This is what I created for today!

I hope you like what I created. I know you all will love playing with these images! I had a blast putting them all together for these projects!

Please visit the rest of the DT's blogs (From both SBS and LMMS), to see what other wonderful projects were made with these!

Simply Challenged Challenge - Dec 18 - Traditional Colors

Hello, all! It's another challenge day over at SCC and today we are using traditional Christmas colors; red, green, silver, and/or gold. I know you all can do this and with Christmas around the corner some of you could use another Christmas card! Lol!

Well Christmas is just around the corner, do you have your shopping done? I know everyone is sending and receiving Christmas cards right now so..
The Challenge for this time will be colors.
Traditional Christmas colors: Red / Green / Silver / Gold

Use an SBS image to get a prize and lets see some Great Christmas Cards..

Here is my Christmas project using the traditional colors of red and green. I used the SBS image Seasons Greetings Lola.

Seasons Greetings! Card. This is Seasons Greetings Lola. She is so cute giving a gift to her little friend. I colored her to look like an elf in Christmas colors.

Smudgy Antics Challenge - Inspired by a Book, Poem, or Film

For the 12 Days of Christmas - Day 6, please scroll down one post.

Hello, all! Time for another Smudgy Antics Challenge! This time the challenge is to create something inspired by a book, poem, or film.

Here are the details:

We have decided to REALLY challenge you this week! Put your thinking caps on and get ready for another smudgy challenge!
Here's a reminder about the rules:
*Each Monday morning a new challenge will be posted. It will contain that week's theme and prize information.

*To participate, you must make a project that fits the theme and add it to the post using the Inlinkz linky. Your link must take us directly to your project on a publicly accessible blog or website, or it will be disqualified - so please make sure you're linking to your actual post. It must be linked by midnight on the following Saturday, Pacific Time. This gives you six days to complete the challenge.

*Your project can be anything (card, scrapbook page, mixed media, altered or 3-D item, etc) as long as it is handmade and stamped somewhere with either a rubber or digital stamp. We have taken into consideration our digital artist fans and will be allowing all-digi projects. Feel free to think outside the box and have fun with your project! We are all about looking at things differently and look forward to the variety of projects and mediums we are sure to see.

*You may use any stamped image, however only projects using at least one Smeared Ink image will be eligible to win a prize. Encourage your crafty friends to come play with us!

*You can only enter and qualify for a prize if you are, or become, a follower of the blog. While you're at it, why not visit the forum as well for more challenges?
*The weekly winner will be chosen by random number and revealed on Sunday. Prizes will vary and may range from a free digi to a coupon to a blog badge.

So let's get to it! Here's this week's info.

The Challenge: Inspired by a Book, Poem, or Film

For my inspiration, I used the book/poem "Twas the Night Before Christmas":

Not Even a Mouse Card. For my inspiration, I used the Calypso digi stamp from Smeared Ink. I also used some Smeared Ink Gothic Christmas digis for the borders. The papers are all from The Paper Studio and I stamped some snowflakes on the creme background. The stamps were colored with Copics and I added some Christmas Red Stickles as an accent. The alphas are Thickers.

I really hope some of you will join in the fun and be inspired to participate in this challenge!
