Hi there, everyone!

It's time for a special release from Simply B Stamps! Just in time to get started on all the Halloween projects I know you all have!

This release is all about Zombies and Creeps!

Go to Simply B Stamps to get all these awesomely spooky images!

This is Dracula Summoned, which I colored and framed.

This is Marie Back From the Dead. Isn't she lovely? I created a binder with her.

This is Mr. Gibbs Zombie Pirate. I used him for a binder, as well.

This is  Calpernia & Oggie, which I colored and framed.

This is Collette. I used her for the focus of this binder.

This is Vampire Portrait. I used him to create a trinket box.

What do you think? Gorgeous images!? Right! Go and check out the other DT members' and Guest Designers' blogs to see their fabulous creations with these. The blog list can be found on the Simply Betty Blog! And make sure to go get your own set of these hauntingly gorgeous images from Simply B Stamps!

Simply Challenged Challenges - Aug 21 - Anything Goes!

Hello, all! Time for another Simply Challenged Challenge!!! Anything Goes today! Let your creativity lead you!

Welcome Back to Simply Challenged Challenges, and it's the 21st of the month, so time for our Anything Goes challenge. Nice and simple, just remember to use a SBS image, and then let your imagination go wild!!

To see all the details, DT inspiration, and winners of past challenges; please visit the SCC Blog!

This week the DT went all Christmas-y! Of course, with a Betty twist! We all used the Simply B Christmas Zombies!

This is the sample I came up with for this challenge:

Fa La La Card. I used Fa-La-La-La-La Lexi for my card. I love the color combo of turquoise and red, and I have these Christmas papers that have that combo in them, so viola! Here she is. I must say it was a little difficult to get into the Christmas-y spirit when I am revving up for Halloween! Lol.

I hope that you will join in the fun and participate in this week's challenge! Remember that anything goes and that you have until September 20 to complete the challenge!

SBS Olympics 2012 - 100m Zombie Chase!

For the Mad Tea Party Post, please scroll down to the next post.

Hello, all!  Today's event is as follows:

Today's challenge is the '100m Zombie Chase'. Just create a project featuring an SBS image, along with a running and zombie theme. It's open to interpretation, so have fun with it!

Here is my sample for inspiration:

Training for the Zombie Apocalypse Layout. These are photos of my son and husband running races in our driveway. I thought they'd be perfect for the zombie chase event, since our family is always talking about "what if there is a zombie apocalypse?" Lol. The stamps are Run 4 The Cause Betty from Simply B Stamps, which I did three of (two "zombies" and one Betty running for her life!).

Supplies: papers from MAMBI and Martha Stewart, white cardstock, Copics, and foam alphas from Thickers.

Copics: "zombie" Betties: C5, N0, N2, N4, N6, W00, W1

Copics: "regular" Betty: B29, B63, B66, E11, R02, R29, R59, RV69

For some DT inspiration, please stop by the SCC Blog.

Here is what I created as a sample:

Let the Sun Shine In Card. This is Summer Zombie Lola from Simply B Stamps. Even zombies need a break sometimes, and what better way to relax than to build a sand castle at the beach with a friend?!

Copics: 110, B32, B45, BG93, E33, E35, FYG2, N0, N4, N6, RV02, YR04
