For the Mad Tea Party post, please scroll down or click here.

Hello, all! Time for the next SBS Olympic Event! Today the event is Coffin Racing!

Time to put your Broomsticks away, and get those Coffins out, and get racing. Remember you just need to use a SBS image and some sort of Coffin Racing; Does your Coffin have wheels or oars??

To check out the DT inspiration samples, rules, details, and prizes; please visit the SCC Blog.

This is my Coffin Racing sample, hope you enjoy it!

Enjoy the Ride Card. This lovely lady is Verity Vamp and her little bat friend is Boris. They are from the Spunky Spooks collection at Simply B Stamps. The coffin and oar are from old coloring book pages. The images were colored with Copics and the alphas are from Thickers.

Day 19 - 31 Days of Halloween & Scraps of Darkness

Hello, all! Day 19 of the 31 Days of Halloween over at the Smeared and Smudged Blog and today I have a frame to share with you. I've been wanting to use this stamp from Tiddly Inks for a while now but didn't know what to put it on. Then I found this square frame in my stack of alterable items and I thought it would be perfect for a couples' frame. I used my Scraps of Darkness All Hallows Eve Kit for this.

Vampire Couple Frame. The papers are from my Scraps of Darkness All Hallows Eve Kit; Fancy Pants and Pink Paislee. The bats were cut off a Prima Vine Embellishment. The stamps are from Tiddly Inks colored with Copics and some Stardust Stickles.

Day 2 - 31 Days of Halloween

Hello, all! Day two of the 31 Days of Halloween! And time for the second coffin in my nesting coffin set.

Paper Mache Nesting Coffin Set Before.

Day of the Dead Coffin (Medium - inside). I used the Echo Park Apothecary Collection to paper the outside and painted the inside with black Adirondack Paint.

Day of the Dead Coffin (Medium). The stamp that I used is from Smeared Ink Stamps, from the Calaveras Digital Stamp Set. I used Copics to color it in and used mists from Lindy's Stamp Gang to color the flowers: Hag Wart Orange, Tibetan Poppy Teal, and Yellow Rose of Texas, along with Scarlet Tattered Angles mist. I inked around the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink.
