Day 2 - 31 Days of Halloween

Hello, all! Day two of the 31 Days of Halloween! And time for the second coffin in my nesting coffin set.

Paper Mache Nesting Coffin Set Before.

Day of the Dead Coffin (Medium - inside). I used the Echo Park Apothecary Collection to paper the outside and painted the inside with black Adirondack Paint.

Day of the Dead Coffin (Medium). The stamp that I used is from Smeared Ink Stamps, from the Calaveras Digital Stamp Set. I used Copics to color it in and used mists from Lindy's Stamp Gang to color the flowers: Hag Wart Orange, Tibetan Poppy Teal, and Yellow Rose of Texas, along with Scarlet Tattered Angles mist. I inked around the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink.

  4. I guess I didn't realize this would be a set, but I love the idea of nested coffins. Very little room for corpses. The second one is so bright and eye-popping! Looking forward to the third one.
