Zombie! --- Zombie Bride That Is.

Hello, everyone! I hope you all had a magnificent 4th of July! I'm here today to share an image from Simply B Stamps for a new release. Betty is releasing to adorable and fantastic images with word art. The word art is created by Christian, Betty's son and this whole line will be a collaboration with him, with Zombie Betty as the mascot. Go visit the SBS Blog so you can get all the details.

Due to time constraints, I only got to create with one of these awesome images, BUT it was a whole lot of fun. So check it out!

This one here is Till Death Betty Oval. This helps focus on what a lovely bride she is!

This one here is a combination of Zombie Bride Betty, some word art, and the coffin that comes in the set. Really had fun with the graffiti word art! Wish you could really see how bright it came out in real life.

This is Till Death Zombie Bride Betty. She comes with the word art already attached.

Go check out the rest of the SBS DT Blogs, to see both images and all the amazing varied creations they made: Here's a list to make it easy for you.

Simply Challenged! ~ July 30 Challenge ~ Heavy on the Embellishments!

Hello, everyone! Time for another fun challenge over at Simply Challenged Challenges! This challenge is all about the embellishments! We want to see lots and lots of flowers, bling, or anything else you can think of, on your creations!

I don't know about you but when I make cards, I don't use a lot of embellishments. On layouts, I don't really have that problem. I think because I view it the cardstock as such a large place to put embellishments and cards just look so small to me. (I'm working on it, though).

Here is my creation using Beauty Spa Rio from the Hollywood Teens Line from SBS!

Betty Burlesque Sneek Peak - Preview Day 4

Hi, everyone! Day four of the Burlesque Bettys preview. Today's image is more subdued than the others but so lovley!

Today we have Betty Love Song!

My theme for this preview was Halloween!

A Halloween Treat. This is my version of Betty Love Song. I decided to color her dress green like in the Burlesque movie since it went with the color scheme I wanted to use. I love the color combo of lime green, purple, and orange!

The inside of the A Halloween Treat card.

Make sure to check out the rest of the DT's blogs for more fantastic projects!

Two trick or treaters
And an owl in a rotten oak tree!

Day 20 - 31 Days of Halloween & Scraps of Darkness

Hello, all! Ready for Day 20 of the 31 Days of Halloween over at Smeared and Smudged? Here we go! Well, I must tell you I am loving my Scraps of Darkness All Hallows Eve kit because I am getting so much use out of it! All the papers are gorgeous and since I love Halloween, I seem to be using this kit for everything! Here is another 8 X 8 layout for my Cemetery Photos Album. In this photo, you can see an orb over and to the left of the angel's head (for those of you who are interested). There is actually two orbs but one is so light and layered on top of the other that I don't know if you'll be able to see it on the screen.

Eternal Rest 8 X 8 Layout. I used my Scraps of Darkness October Kit for this and the only things that are not from the kit are the tombstone stamp I used (got it for $1 at Big Lots) and the printed out part of the title. The leaves and orange flower are from Prima, the chipboard tree is from Scrapmatts, and the title alphas are from Pink Paislee's Phantom line. The patterned paper is Fancy Pants Spell paper. I used Tim Holtz's Ripe Persimmon Distress Ink.

Blue, Green, and Orange!

Hello, all! I cannot believe it but I actually finished all the challenges I signed up for this month over at scrapbook.com! And early, too! So now I am looking for new challenges to take and ideas for some more layouts. Here are a few pages from me with the same color combination. I was really feeling these colors this week! And I actually created more pages in this color combo than I'm sharing since those others are for submissions for a magazine. So here we go!

The More That You Read... layout. This is for the Dr. Seuss, Colour, and Scraplift 101 Challenges over at scrapbook.com. For the Dr. Seuss Challenge, you had to use a Seuss quote or related topic. For the Colour Challenge, you had to use Blue, Lime Green, and Orange as your palette. And for the Scraplift 101, this is a lift of Exploring the Land in Epcot by Godschild94. The photos are of my son (my daughter is in there a bit, too) after school on March 2nd, Dr. Suess' birthday. They had celebrated at school by reading the book Green Eggs and Ham and eating real green eggs and ham! He was so excited when he got home that I took out all the Dr. Seuss books my daughter's had from storage to give to him. He's been reading them non-stop!

The More That You Read (1)...Close-Up. I used some DCWV Animal Crackers papers and photos I took that day, plus added the little announcement all the kids in my son's class got for this day.

The More That You Read (2)...Close-Up. More photos of my son reading his "new" books. I used Thickers in various styles to make up the long title. I colored them with Adirondack Alcohol Inks in Sailboat Blue, Lettuce, and Sunset Orange. I used my Cricut Expression on all the stars.

Sketchy Thursdays Sketch for 3-24-2011.

The Pier layout. This is my take on the Sketchy Thursday sketch for 3-24-2011. The photos are of my son and niece, and of a restaurant called The Pier we stopped at on our mini vacation to visit relatives. The shark is real, just stuffed, and it was caught from the boat pictured at the top. I used my Cricut Expression on the stars and Stickles in Lime Green, Waterfall, and Orange Peel. The paper is from the Where the Heart Is Paper Pack from My Mind's Eye.

Night at the Pier layout. I had so many pictures of this occasion that I decided to make a second page to the sketch layout. I used the same paper pack and Stickles to complete this one as well.
