Creative Creations Challenge - Anything Goes!

Happy New Year's Everyone! I hope all of you have started the new year with lots of happiness and fun!

After a break for the holidays, I am happy to say that I am in a creative mood! And it's been a long while since I felt this creative. So here is a card I made using a new image from Simply B Stamps, for the Anything Goes Challenge at Creative Creations.

 

This is the lovely Cupid Elisabete. She is a Valentine's Day Cupid image but I think she looks like she could be an angel as well.

For this card, I used some card stock and papers from my stash, a lace border punch, liquid pearls, paper flowers, Stickles, and Distress Inks in Dusty Concord and Faded Jeans. I hand cut the clouds from white card stock. The image was colored with copics.

Jude Nativity Release Blog Hop!

Hello, everyone! Come and join me for another splendid release from Simply B Stamps! Today's release is of the Jude Nativity collection; just in time to get going on your Christmas cards. I don't know if you all are like me but I always wait to long to get started on my Christmas cards then I don't end up sending out any! This year will be different, I SWEAR! And these images here will help me because they are perfect for my side of the family! They don't really get the whole darkness thing... Lol. But these are perfect! The images are so sweet, and as you will see from some of my creations, are suprisingly versatile. I won't bore you with all the details of how I made these just because the post will be too long. Shepard Card. This is Jude as Joseph.

 

O Holy Night Card. This is both Jude as Joseph and Ariel as Mary.

Day 20 - 31 Days of Halloween & Scraps of Darkness

Hello, all! Ready for Day 20 of the 31 Days of Halloween over at Smeared and Smudged? Here we go! Well, I must tell you I am loving my Scraps of Darkness All Hallows Eve kit because I am getting so much use out of it! All the papers are gorgeous and since I love Halloween, I seem to be using this kit for everything! Here is another 8 X 8 layout for my Cemetery Photos Album. In this photo, you can see an orb over and to the left of the angel's head (for those of you who are interested). There is actually two orbs but one is so light and layered on top of the other that I don't know if you'll be able to see it on the screen.

Eternal Rest 8 X 8 Layout. I used my Scraps of Darkness October Kit for this and the only things that are not from the kit are the tombstone stamp I used (got it for $1 at Big Lots) and the printed out part of the title. The leaves and orange flower are from Prima, the chipboard tree is from Scrapmatts, and the title alphas are from Pink Paislee's Phantom line. The patterned paper is Fancy Pants Spell paper. I used Tim Holtz's Ripe Persimmon Distress Ink.
