Hello, all! I just wanted to give you a heads up about all the coming events that I will be participating in soon!

First of all, Friday, July 27, is the start of Simply B Stamps Olympics. The Simply B Olympics Opening Ceremony will be on the 27th, followed by daily challenges, and selection of winners (participants will be separated into teams and teams will have to receive votes to win - full details will be announced during the opening ceremony). This is going to be a lot of Olympic fun, Betty-style!

Second, the 28th of July is the start of another Simply Challenged Challenge over at the SCC Blog. Look for the details and my sample on Saturday.

Third, Punky Scraps , after a bit of a holiday, will be back in full force. We will be having a blog hop on July 28th to get back into the swing of things!

And last but not least, the 5th Annual A Fanciful Twist Mad Tea Party is scheduled for the 28th of July as well! The invitation is below and the link will take you to the details of the party.

I hope all of you will join me for this chaotic, full, frenzied, wonderful weekend (and days to come), and decide to participate in some of the fun!

Simply Challenged Challenges - July 21 - Anything Goes

Hello, all! Here is this week's Simply Challenged Challenge!

It's time for a new challenge, and this one is dead easy, cuz

Anything Goes!!

Yes, it's the 21st of the month, so it's our Anything Goes Challenge; do whatever you like, just remember to use a SBS image on your project.

We made the challenge a little more difficult for the SCC DT, they all have the same image to work with, the adorable Miss Betty Burton. What better way to show the versatility of an image, than to get the whole DT to create with her. To check out the variety of DT work, visit the SCC Blog.

Thinking of You Card. This is Ms. Betty Burton; she is so lovely! I love her big puffy dress, long straight hair, and cute little bat buddy. She is perfect for so many occasions! Here she is in a card that is "just because."

You must use a SBS image... any image, and come up with something "Summer Fun", you have one month to do it..

The SCC DT worked with the Funky Pirates line for this one! Here is mine:

Bon Voyage Card. I must have summer vacation on the brain! Since I am in between trips at the moment. Lol. So my swashbuckling friend here is on a very tropical themed card, pretty enough to send anyone on their merry way!

Supplies: Papers by the Paper Studio, flowers by Prima, Copics, opaque white pen, and chipboard stickers from my stash.

Ready For Some Two On Two Card. This is Volleyball Tilly. She looks a lot like a someone I know! Lol. She's such a beauty! Went simple with this card as well but then she has a lot of attitude to compensate! (Sorry the picture is dark; no good light in the middle of the night!)
