Hello, all! This week is Halloween week for June at Simply Challenged Challenges. We love Halloween so much that we must celebrate it every month. So every month, the Simply Challenged Challenge on the 28th of every month will be Halloween themed!

This month's Halloween theme is:

Hidden passages... create a Halloween projects with pull outs, windows, doors, anything you can open and close and find another hidden image!

All you have to do to join in our challenge is use a SimplyBStamps image on your project, and follow the challenge theme.

Simply Challenged Challenges - June 21 - Anything goes!

Hello, all! Time for another Simply Challenged Challenge! And this one is super easy!

It's time to launch another challenge, and this one really is a doddle, Anything Goes as long as you use a Simply B Stamps image.

Here is what I created for this week:

Frankenweenie Card. I created this card because I was so excited to hear that Tim Burton is re releasing his movie Frankenweenie but this time it will be in stop animation (ala Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, etc...) The stamp is Betty Bolts and Baxter from Simply B Stamps. I used my Cricut to cut out the oval backgrounds, my Sew Easy tool from We R Memory Keepers to sew on the backgrounds, and liquid pearls in Platinum and Key Lime. The flowers are from Prima and I used Copics to color the images in. The green paper is from DCWV.

Simply Challenged Challenges - June 14 - Toxic Teens

Hello, all! Time for another Simply Challenged Challenge!

Today we have another new challenge for you; just like last week's, it's open for one month, so there is plenty of time to join in the fun!

Scene It! - We are challenging you to recreate a scene from a movie of your choice, it' can be a scene from the movie, or even the DVD Cover Picture, as long as it's got something to do with a Movie and you use a SimplyBStamps image, then it open to your interpretation.

This week the SCC DT have all been working with images from the Toxic Teen Collection, a fun and funky collection of images perfect for Kids/Teens/Tweens Cards.

Here is my card, {loosely} based on the movie, Pretty in Pink.

When I saw Ty from the Toxic Teen Collection, I thought he'd fit perfectly at the club that Andie (Molly Ringwald) goes to in the movie. Then I thought about what Pretty in Pink brought to mind for me and that was the 80's, so that is where the bright/neon colors come into the picture. The papers are from the American Crafts Teen collection, the alpha stickers are from Doodlebug Designs, and the trim/ribbon are from my stash.

Copics used to color Toxic Ty:

E50, B05, BV08, N4, N6, RV06, V05, Y15

Simply Challenged Challenge June 7 - Inner Betty

Hello, all! Time for the challenges to start over at Simply Challenged Challenges with Simply B Stamps! There will be a new challenge every week and you'll have all month long to complete them!

Here's the link to the challenge: Inner Betty Challenge

Your challenge is to create a project using any of the 'Betty' images from SBS to show us your Inner Betty, we want to see what Betty's images mean to you, so you might want to make a fun and quirky card, or something spooky and beautiful, it's up to you!!

This is my Inner Betty:

Betty Liberty Card. My Inner Betty Image couldn't have been more perfect for me. She is full of personality, panache, and patriotism! I love that at Simply B Stamps you can always find the perfect stamp for unique projects! I used this Betty to make a birthday card for one of my aunts, whose birthday is the 5th of July. The sentiment inside says "Hope your day is filled with fireworks!" I used plain cardstock in white, red, and blue, some random star stamps I had in my stash, and some fireworks paper from The Paper Studio. I also used some star stickers from The Paper Studio and Stickles in Christmas Red and Diamond.

Copics I used for Betty Liberty: E29, E35, E37, N2, R01, R20, R32, R59, Y02, Y15, YG41, YR02, YR04, YR68
